ABOUT ME

​I’ve been sewing since childhood, driven by a lifelong passion for creating beautiful, functional pieces from fabric, thread, and imagination. Over the years, my work has spanned everything from wedding gowns, tailored suits, and custom clothing to upholstery, drapery, and countless alterations and refashions. I love reimagining existing garments and found fabrics into something fresh and personal, guided by a commitment to sustainability and thoughtful craftsmanship. My experience ranges from intimate “Memory Projects” that preserve loved ones’ stories, to technical collaborations like designing custom heat suits for an expedition across Ethiopia’s Erta Ale volcano with ONE AXE Inc. Today, I teach private alteration lessons from my bright, fully equipped studio in Guelph, sharing decades of expertise to help others build confidence, skill, and artistry in their own sewing practice.
